Gastric Sleeve surgery July 2020 - Thanks so much to Dr Ali Solmaz & his excellent professional & caring hospital team & special word of thanks to Emine the co-ordinator. From start to finish I never felt alone, unsure or frightened dispute the fact that I travelled by myself due to COVID. The care was exceptional, far greater than any care I’ve received within our Irish HSE system. The doctor, nurses, cleaners, kitchen, translation, dietician personnel & even the hospital taxi driver were all so caring & friendly. My advice - don’t waste time thinking about it just get it done, you won’t have any regrets!
Very good experience, I come from Istanbul Bariatric Academy and the truth is that it is the best thing I have been able to do in my life, my mother Dolores recommended it to me and I am very grateful, as much as my mother, the nurses of Intensive Care Unit and the nurses on the fifth floor. I had my surgery in October 2020 and I am totally blown away with the weight loss and speedy recovery post surgery. Dr Akif Aydin is brilliant at his job. He has done my surgery with minimal scars and I never felt like I have been through this life changing surgery. The whole process was superbly managed by him and his team.
