I was having typical male baldness and saw a friend who did his transplant in Istanbul and I came to this website. I researched and I found out I can do in Istanbul at 85% cheaper than the price I was to pay in my country. I came from the most expensive country to live in (Singapore) and I was interested in doing the FUE transplant and I never regretted it. I was quite surprised as I am the first Singaporean who came all the way to Istanbul to do the treatment at the clinic. I was attended by Olga the translator. She is such a nice person to deal with. She was very patient in dealing with me because I had to plan months ahead to do this procedure (bear in mind that I came from south-east Asia and its a long flight journey to Istanbul). She was not pushy, very understanding and also addressed my concerns before I booked my flight to Turkey. For the price I paid and enquired in Turkey, I found that Istanbul health gave a very good and reasonable price complete with good airport transfers, all other transfers required to and from the clinic. I was attended by Dr Guven, he's a nice guy. The team who attended me was excellent. The procedure took almost a whole day with a quick break in between. Dr Guven redrew the hairline and off we start to do the anaesthesia. I have to say it's a bit uncomfortable as it's a local anaesthesia. Once your head is numb I felt little or no pain. I even slept while they were removing the follicles. Once the follicles were all out, Dr Guven used a sapphire pen to poke to the frontal area and the sparse area where it is to be planted. I have to say the team who did it in a day was absolutely fantastic. Now a month after the procedures, I still have some hair drop out but I can already see baby hairs on my frontal area. Thanks to Olga, Dr Guven and the team for the great hospitality at the clinic. I believe more people from Singapore (friends and families) will come and do the procedure once they see the final result.
