Probably the best doctor I've met and the best doctor visit experience I've had. I had a mild deviated septum and enlarged turbinates. For the longest time I was avoiding fixing them and I would just put the breathright tapes over my nose at night so I could breath when I was sleeping or during heavy exercise period. My primary care in USA, had referred me to an ENT specialist. The US, ENT specialist maybe spent 5 min at most and then gave me a pamphlet to read. Needless to say I was not impressed and I would have not trusted my body to such a doctor. Then by luck, a Facebook friend posted about fixing his deviated septum in Istanbul and gave very high marks to Dr. Murat. I say, by luck, because the following week I had an overnight flight through Istanbul. So I deiced to use this time for a consultation. I was Dr. Murat's last patient and he probably spent 40 minutes taking photos of my nasal cavity, ear and throat. Showed the images on the screen and explained everything about my overall nose throat and ear's health. This was like 1000X better than my doctor in US. This is the kind things that helps you build trust with a doctor and trust your health to them. So, a year later, I arrived to Istanbul and Dr. Murat fixed my deviated septum and reduced my turbinates. It's been a month since my procedure and everything is great. I made many interviews for the face surgery that I wanted for a long time. Finally, my path crossed with Cahit Hoca. In our first meeting, I said I was okay with the surgery as a result of his close, sincere, warm interest and answering all my questions. The procedure done to me is an endoscopic mid-face lift. However, I had eyelid surgery and my under-eye bags were also removed. I had an oil injection on my face. I had absolutely no pain. There was a slight pain in the form of a headache. I did not have any problems during the recovery process. I am currently in my 5th month. Even though I'm 52, I look like I'm in my thirties.
